Afghanistan: Landlocked, Mountainous, Geostrategic

punditman says...Peacenik seems to have lost his geographic bearings. Hopefully only temporarily. Afghanistan is bordered by Pakistan in the south and east, Iran in the west, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the north, and China in the far northeast, thus connecting the Middle East with Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
